WEEKLY EVENTS

Event: Storybook Hour with Ms. Jolee

Date/Time: Every Wednesday 10-11am.

Description: Music, books, game, crafts and more! Ages 2+

Event: SmallFry Infant Lapsit Ms. Jolee

Date/Time: Every Thursday 11:30am.

Description: Music & movement interactive learning.Ages 2mo -2yrs.

EVENT: Express Line/Young Adult Writers Group

Date/Time: Thursdays 6p-8p

Description: We're mixing it up for writers this summer Open to all ages, styles and experience. Just bring a pen and paper and open your imagination! Lead by local Homer author Mel McWilliams

Event: Summer Reading Program Adventures

Date/Time: Fridays, time TBD.

Description: Every Friday is a different insect adventure during the summer as part of the Summer Reading Program 'Catch the Reading Bug' @ the Homer Library.

EVENT: Summer Solstice Celebration!

Date/Time: Saturday June 21st 10a-6pm

Description: We're having fun with all things solar! Great outdoor activities to celebrate the longest day of the year!

10:30-1:00 Kids Storyhour, Make and take solar crafts

1:00 - 2:00 Solar Science! Sun power in action

2:00 - 3:00 Solar Games

3:00 - 4:00 Sustainable Homer Solar energy lecture

4:00 - 6:00 Outdoor Acoustic Jam, games

(in case of rain, an indoor schedule of events will be posted at the library)

Event: Girls Night Out Reading Group

Date/Time: June 17 6:00 pm

Description: It’s a Girl Thing! Reading group for teen girls 14-18. Meet monthly to discuss young adult novels, have fun with crafts and snacks! This month is MisMatch by Lensey Namioka

EVENT: Family game night

Date/Time: June 24 6pm

Description: YATZEE! All your favorite board games available for you and your family to enjoy. First come first serve for games and rooms, so sign up early! Local game clubs welcome! New games premiered every month, sponsored by Timeless Toys of Homer.
